How To Install a Sidewinder™ Sprinkler Drop

Sidewinder™ connects directly to the branch line, with the sprinkler head inserted into the opposite end. Once fitted through the ceiling grid mounting assembly, you're set with a perfect fit, tile after tile.

IMPORTANT: Each Sidewinder assembly must be installed according to NFPA 13 standards and local government requirements, standards and codes. Any failure to comply with any such requirement or standard, or any failure to comply with the instructions and recommendations contained on this page will void any warranty made by Gateway Tubing, Inc.

STEP-BY-STEP

Step 1: Connect Sidwinder™ to branch line;

Step 2: Attach mounting assembly to ceiling grid;

Step 3: Attach reducer to mounting assembly using the reducer clamp;

 

After installation is completed, test the sprinkler system for leaks pursuant to NFPA Guidelines.
